First tooth. Finally, 2 days after her 10-month birthday, Emma's first tooth is finally breaking through the gumline. We noticed a small rough spot in the afternoon, and then at dinner the tooth became apparent. It is just breaking the skin, so its not visible yet (she doesn't really show it off, either, more the opposite), but you can feel it.

Ten months. Yep, we're in trouble. We've had to block some of the cabinets and rearrange a few things.


Emma and the Boss. We spent last week travelling back to both our home offices, mine near Albany and Laurie's outside of Boston. This is Emma with my boss Karen.

We also got to see some good friends who live in Western Mass, and we went out for pizza. Emma particularly liked the menu.

On the way back, we stopped in Saratoga. Here's Emma with Laurie's aunt Pam. I wish we could see them more often.
