A Stationary Odyssey

Fourteen weeks. This first picture was really funny - I was eating pizza, got to the crust, and she took hold of it and started sucking on it. She really liked it.

Kerplunk baby.

Emma and Laurie. We've been showing lots of pictures of Emma and other people. So, here are two pictures to fix that.

The odyssey was a little less stationary than usual this weekend. We got a truck on Saturday, and with the help of our firends and family, moved the big stuff (like couches, bed, etc) over to the house on Ryan's Way. There's still a bunch of stuff at the old house to mess with (like my work computer), but as the phone and internet gets moved over we'll vacate more thoroughly. Pictures will come soon.

Emma and Grandpa. My dad just got back from visiting my brother in Uruguay. It took a moment, but Emma smiled at him at the bus station (and no, he didn't take the bus to Uruguay, just back from NYC). By the time we got my dad home, everything was back to normal.

Emma at 11 weeks. This is a usual pose for her. The bluish cast is because its in natural light, where she loves to look out at the leaves.

And this fellow is Geoffrey Plantagenet, one of Emma's ancestors. She is related to him through his illegitimate son, Hamelin. Geoffrey had a daughter named "Emme" who married a Prince of Gwynedd, who would be Emma's great x20+ aunt. I haven't been able to find much about her yet except that she dies about 1214.
