A first look. We went to the ob-gyn office today and got an ultrasound. It was incredible to watch the baby move and turn as we watched. It started out standing on its head and we could see the heartbeat, ribs, head, and everything else. We also think we saw the nose, which you might be able to make out in the image. After a bit, the baby moved to its back, which helped the doctor look at the things he needed to see. The head is to the left, looking up, with the body extending to the right. It was more clearly defined in the "standing on its head" pictures, but this is the image we got to bring home. Its about 2 inches long, after 11 and a half weeks.
